Rules of the regiment · Code v2

The Code

These are the rules every member of the regiment serves under. They are short on purpose. Read them once, then live them.

Article I: Conduct and respect

  1. 1.Treat every player with respect, in our channels, in game and on public servers.
  2. 2.No hate speech, no harassment, no threats, no doxxing. These end your service.
  3. 3.You wear the APR name. Behave in a way the pack can stand behind.

Article II: Neutral ground

  1. 1.We respect every religion and every member, whatever their faith, skin colour or background: white, black, Hispanic, Asian or anything else.
  2. 2.No religious discussions. They mostly end in toxic arguments, so we keep them out of every APR channel, voice chat and op.
  3. 3.No political discussions. We are neither left nor right; APR is neutral ground for everybody.
  4. 4.As a community we thrive on unity, not on arguments inside the group. If a talk drifts that way, drop it or take it elsewhere.
  5. 5.Starting such a discussion is a Level 1 note; carrying on after being asked to stop is a Level 2 warning.

Article III: Comms discipline

  1. 1.Keep calls short and clear: who, what, where.
  2. 2.When command is calling, keep the channel free.
  3. 3.Banter has its place. In an op, the mission comes first.

Article IV: Ops, attendance and slotting

  1. 1.If you sign up for an op, you show up. If you can't, take yourself off the slot before it starts.
  2. 2.Attendance means at least half the op window in an OPS voice channel, your unit channel or Command.
  3. 3.Some slots need a qualification. Take the slot you can fill.
  4. 4.Repeated no-shows after signing up are a discipline matter.

Article V: Chain of command

  1. 1.In an op, follow your fireteam leader, squad leader and officers.
  2. 2.Disagree after the op, not during it. Raise it with your commander or through a ticket.
  3. 3.Ignoring orders in an op is a Level 2 offence.

Article VI: Fair play

  1. 1.No cheats, no exploits, no griefing. Not on our server, not anywhere under our name.
  2. 2.Cheating under the APR name is a Level 3 offence; proven cheating is Level 4 and means discharge.
  3. 3.Every applicant's Steam account is checked for bans. Flags are reviewed by a human, never auto-rejected.

Article VII: Our server and channels

  1. 1.On the regiment's server you represent APR to every guest. Play fair and help new players.
  2. 2.Command channels stay in Command. Leaking Command content is a Level 3 offence.
  3. 3.Wear the APR server tag on Discord if you are an Alpha.

Article VIII: Recruitment and trial

  1. 1.Applicants must be 18 or older and own WARDOGS on a verified Steam account.
  2. 2.Accepted applicants join the Reserve or start as Recruits in a unit.
  3. 3.The trial lasts four weeks. Four attended ops and you become a Private and an Alpha.
  4. 4.A denied applicant can apply again after 30 days.

Article IX: Ranks and promotion

  1. 1.Private to Corporal is automatic after twelve weeks as Private, fifteen attended ops and no active strikes.
  2. 2.Sergeants are nominated, elected by their unit and confirmed by High Command.
  3. 3.Warrant Officers and officers are appointed by High Command only.
  4. 4.High Command can bring a new member in at a higher rank. That is the exception, not the rule.

Article X: Discipline levels

  1. 1.Level 1, Note: for example late to an op without notice, comms indiscipline or minor disrespect. Verbal warning, logged. No strike. Expires after 30 days. Issued by Corporals and above.
  2. 2.Level 2, Warning: for example repeated Level 1, toxicity, ignoring orders in an op or a second no-show after sign-up. Written warning and 1 strike, optional 24-hour timeout. Expires after 90 days. Issued by Sergeants and above, with evidence.
  3. 3.Level 3, Serious: for example harassment, griefing, leaking Command content or cheating under our name. 2 strikes plus a 7-day suspension or demotion by one rank. Expires after 180 days. Issued by officers, with evidence, confirmed by High Command.
  4. 4.Level 4, Severe: hate speech, doxxing, proven cheating or threats. Dishonourable discharge and ban. Permanent. Decided by High Command, with evidence, and confirmed by a second High Command member.
  5. 5.Three active strikes trigger a High Command review for discharge.
  6. 6.Your file also records commendations. It is a service record, not a punishment log, and you can always see your own.

Article XI: Due process and appeals

  1. 1.Every entry has a reason. You are notified by DM.
  2. 2.You can appeal within 7 days with the appeal button in that DM.
  3. 3.Appeals are decided by officers who were not involved. High Command's decision is final.

Article XII: Inactivity and leave

  1. 1.Activity means ops, time on voice and messages.
  2. 2.After 23 days without activity you get a reminder. After 30 days you move to the Alpha Pack Reserve and keep your rank.
  3. 3.After 90 more days in the Reserve, your rank resets to Private.
  4. 4.Going away? Take a leave of absence. Up to 30 days is approved instantly and pauses every timer. Longer leave needs an officer, up to six months.

Article XIII: Privacy and representation

  1. 1.We keep only what we need to run the regiment. Your service number and rank history stay; personal data is deleted or anonymised 12 months after you leave.
  2. 2.You can export your data, have it corrected or ask for deletion at any time.
  3. 3.Publicly we show Discord display names and ranks of the command staff only.

The Code can change. When it does, the version number goes up and members are told. Semper Primus.
